In accordance with our Physical Education plan, all classes receive 1 hour timetabled PE every week. We promote the key messages of the Primary PE Curriculum in our lessons. Teachers utilise the PSSI/Oide lesson Plans to facilitate the delivery of a broad and balanced PE Curriculum for all age groups.
Over the past two years we have had a rugby coach, dance coach, a soccer skills coach, a tennis coach and a skipping coach. The children in Moynalvey NS have really enjoyed developing their skills in a range of different sports. Rainy days Classes engage in extended classroom based physical activity breaks on wet days. Pupils really enjoy actively engaging in Go Noodle, Just Dance activities, and Bizzy Breaks. Active Lunch Lines Our Active Committee came up with the idea of having our line up less stationary and less boring. They stand in front of the whole school at the end of little break and big break and get every child moving.
Well done to our past and present Moynalvey girls who were part of the Kiltale Under 13 B camogie team who won the final on Sunday against Boardsmill. Kiltale abú
